Product Details
Hypertonic saline 2.7%. Buffered 2.7% solutions. Extra strength (as compared to isotonic solution). Drug free nasal decongestant. Cleanse, moisturize and soothe with our sterile, preservative free, pH balanced & buffered solution. Uses: Nasal allergies, dryness, post nasal drip, congestion, stuffiness from common cold and flu, irritation from occupation, dust, fumes, animal dander, grass, pollen, smoke and house dust. Neither addicting nor habit forming. Advantages & Disadvantage of Hypertonic or Extra Strength Saline: Some research shows that hypertonic (2.7%) or more concentrated solutions may help reduce sinus congestion better than isotonic (0.9%) solution. Some consider extra strength saline as a natural decongestant. Hypertonic of higher concentrated salt solution is formulated to draw the water out of congested tissue and reduce swelling to open the nasal passages and sinus openings to allow for better drainage. It is possible that one may experience temporary burning or stinging, in which case, please use our isotonic spray. Preservative free. Sterile. Suitable during pregnancy. www.neilmed.com. Indications
To moisture and lubricate dry nasal passages. The gentle mist will soften and loosen mucus in the nose and moisten nasal membranes.
Directions
Insert tip of actuator into nostril and press gently until adequate volume has been sprayed an the nasal passages are moist. Blow your nose very gently to clear the mucus out. Repeat for the other nostril. Use as often as needed.
Ingredients
USP Grade Purified Water, Sodium, Chloride (27 mg/ml) & Sodium Bicarbonate (up to 3 mg/ml) to Adjust pH.
Warnings
Consult physician before use on babies and children under the age of 1. System designed for single user to reduce the risk of contamination. Do not share with others. Do not completely block or occlude the nasal passages during use. Keep out of reach of children. Contents under pressure. Do not puncture or incinerate. Recommended Storage Conditions: Store between 41 degrees F (5 degrees C) and 131 degrees F (55 degrees C), out of sunlight, away from heat sources and avoid freezing. Please retain the outer box for instructions & other important information.
