Walking with a Walker: Align the middle of your foot with back legs of walker (always stand in rear half of walker). Lift walker and place securely on all four legs in front of you. Carefully step forward. Custom Walker Adjustments: Adjust the walker so that when the arm is extended the walker handle is at wrist height. Elbow should be flexed at 20-30 degrees.

Be Aware of: throw rugs; toys; drapes; animals; cracks in floor; liquid or puddles. Use wheels on front legs only, or wheels on all four legs with the correct rear wheel brakes. Do not push one side of the walker forward and then the other side without lifting the walker. Use Nova Ortho-Med accessories only. Use of other manufacturer accessories may result in improper fit and risk of fall or injury. Do not use on stairs, moving sidewalks, or escalators. Replace worn tips.
